A Benefit Company
L’Operosa S.p.A., aware of its role and responsibility, has embraced the status of Benefit Company, adding the tangible commitment to having a positive impact on society and the environment to its business mission.
In line with Italian Law no. 208 of 28/12/2015, we steer our activities towards the common good, balancing the company’s interests with those of society. This choice is an official and binding commitment that L’Operosa S.p.A. has made to people, local communities and the ecosystem. Our transformation into a Benefit Company concretely reflects our dedication to a sustainable, inclusive and ethical business model.
Report on Achieving the Common Good
As a Benefit Company, we are required to produce an Annual Impact Report, attached to the company’s financial statements (Article 1(382), Law no. 208/15).
This Annual Impact Report describes the activities and progress made in achieving the common good, in the following areas in particular:
- Governance: We measure our transparency and responsibility in pursuing goals for achieving the common good.
- Relations with Staff: We analyse the relations with and the wellbeing of our employees.
- Relations with other Stakeholders: We review the interactions and impact on clients, suppliers and communities.
- Environmental Impacts: We evaluate the actions taken to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.
Governance
The governance of L’Operosa S.p.A. is defined by the parent company, that appoints the members of the Board of Directors to hold office.
