The Impact Statement
The Impact Statement is a document in which a Benefit Company declares its objectives, values and commitments for creating a positive impact on society and the environment. L’Operosa draws up this document setting out its commitment and the actions taken to contribute to the community’s wellbeing and to environmental sustainability, also explaining how it intends balancing stakeholders’ interests.
The statement clearly and transparently illustrates the objectives and principles guiding the company’s actions towards a responsible, sustainable conduct. It describes in detail the approach taken to promote a shared value, highlighting the initiatives adopted to generate wellbeing.
Through this statement, L’OPEROSA demonstrates its commitment to pursuing a business model that integrates social and environmental responsibility, while maintaining at the same time an effective economic management.
Impact Officer
The Impact Officer manages sustainability initiatives on an operational level, guaranteeing the adoption of strategies outlined in the Sustainability Plan. He or she monitors progress and reports the results to the Board of Directors, having a key role in the internal and external communication of sustainability performance, promoting a corporate culture centred around social and environmental sustainability.
