In addition, in the last few months and for the same area of application, L’Operosa obtained certification from the body TÜV Italia srl - Gruppo TÜV Sud for its Social Responsibility Management System in accordance with the standard SA 8000:2008.

Aware of the social position that its organization represents as a production and work Cooperative, Operosa has established its Vision as the contribution given to the economic system as a whole, through the possibility of constantly offering employment opportunities and services considered satisfactory by an increasingly demanding General Public.

This vision involves seeking the right balance between the needs of the service Purchaser (usually a Public Authority, its privileged stakeholder), the worker Member and the General Public (the service consumer).

In  doing so the Organization intends to:

- provide the service transparently, efficiently and safely, complying with the requirements defined by the reference standard, by current legislation and by the specifications defined by the customer;

- establish and/or strengthen the partnership relationships with the most important Customers and, where possible/appropriate, with the Suppliers;

- invest in the continuous adaptation of resources, also maintaining a suitable, calm and stimulating work environment;

- implement management control systems to constantly monitor “health” of the company balance sheet, in both the short and the long term.

In 2010 Operosa obtained certification of its Management System for Social Responsibility according to the standard SA 8000:2008 from the agency TÜV Italy srl - Gruppo TÜV Sud, setting itself yet another objective in addition to those mentioned above, namely to improve the conditions of workers through the definition of a system that monitors the requirements based on the ILO Conventions (child labour, forced and mandatory labour, health and safety, freedom of association and right to collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary procedures, working hours, remuneration) and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
